The Candle House was started in 1996 on the shores of Lake Baringo. For many years we have been buying honey from the local Pokot tribe which we cleaned and bottled to sell. As a result we were left with large amounts of beeswax.
Some very large candlesticks sparked the need for some very large candles and the Candle House was born. Our products have been inspired by the African landscapes that surround us, and rising need for conservation. From our humble beginnings we have become established as the foremost maker of fine candles in East Africa. However, while we continue to develop new products we look forward to hearing your comments.
